How many shootings does there have to be in the news before we wonder about the wisdom of allowing just about anyone to get a gun in America? Our gun culture is completely out of control.

You know as well as I do the war on Guns is coming soon!

It's madness that almost anyone can stroll into a Wal-Mart and walk out with a deadly weapon. Guns should be the hardest things to get in America, not the easiest.

Uh, obviously he has not been in a Wal-Mart in a metropolitan area recently. I find it maddening that you can't walk into most Wal-Marts anymore and walk out with a deadly weapon. As to the 2nd part of his comment, obviously he has not tried to find an AR in stock recently.

+1, but that right there is 99% of the problem. A$$hats like the guy writing this, or the GD 20/20 episode last Friday, that spread all the BS to the sheeple making them fear anything to with guns. ;)

how about the chemicals, knives, bats and junk food that is killing our children - Oh the Humanity...........no outcry at all. We should ban cars and stairways also. The scare tactics are amazing and they get a way with it. I wonder if any of these anti's have actually fired a weapon and whether they, if put in the postion to pull a trigger to save their loved ones would choose to see them perish.

There is no balance on the coverage and the Sheeple who work too hard and don't have the time to research on their own, suffer with bad information circulating.

I heard someone this AM on 100.3 (Langdon Perry?) say that the over reaction of the gun owners only meant that they didn't understand that its only the Nazi extremist and the Millitia guys who walk around in camo and talk about over throwing the government that are being targeted and if you are worried about your guns being taken away, you must be one of these people. Yesssss sleep, sleep while we quietly bludgeon you into submission................

Its hard to beleive that there isn't more outrage when these types of ideas are put forth. The schools have done a great job of changing the lessons of history and slowly converting the masses. Free thinking is dead. The group think - pacifist no agression at any cost unless it's government - left wing fascism is here and we don't have the numbers anymore to stop it.

I guess my name just made the list. What do they say about prying my cold dead fingers...................Where did I put my extra set of BDU's..................?

Don't forget the Polar Bears in zoo's. On nice thing is the fact that the poll that was on the AOL article about the US Ship that escaped the pirates today, was the fact that it asked "Gun laws will be toughened after how many more shooting incidents?"

The votes were overwhelmingly for NEVER

The poll is in this link.
