Gotta love Uncle Ted. By far my favorite spokesperson on the subject of the Second Amendment. His Clarity is spot on. Some say too outspoken, but I think he speaks for more people than his detractors would like to admit.

Easy. He's a loudmouth ***********. While he may speak for some, he does not speak for me.

I assume your speaking of his dodging the Viet Nam war.

So you don't agree that a person has a right to defend their family or their self's?

I think he was referring to the image of the spokesperson for the things one may stand for... But I would not want to speak for him.

What's that got to do with my opinion of Mr. Nugent? The OP held up Mr. Nugent as someone whose opinion and stance should be applauded. I happen to think Mr. Nugent is a loudmouthed braggart who, IMHO is an embarrassment to gun owners and gun rights supporters everywhere. He is the very epitome of what gun control advocates believe the majority of us to be and like to portray us as such at every opportunity. He is also a skulking coward who likes to 'talk the talk' but when it was his turn to 'walk the walk' ran away, **** his pants, and hid. Of course, now there's no danger of him actually having to put his own ass on the line, he's just having wet dreams over those who do. You may not agree, and that's fine by me.

I'm agreeing with what the man said Not what he has done or will do. I agree that a person has certain rights and the protection of them self or theirs is one of them.

Looks like he effed up once, but has been making up for it since.

Evens the Scales IMO.

And yeah, I think his pugnacious attitude is exactly what the RKBA movement needs. It is our inalienable Right. Past due time we stop apologizing for that.
