Almost free two man tree stand

Postby 45Badger on Sun Sep 11, 2011 3:02 pm

Basic two man ladder stand sold at big box stores. 15' high IIRC.

Stand is used and a bit out of whack, but still serviceable. On a tree up near Rush City. I bought a new one to put up. $20 for the gas and my charming company, and it's yours if you come help take it down. I'll supply beverages. Most likely going up next Sunday morning. Should be back in time for football.

Hey, do you think that thing would hold up my brother and I?? We're both about 6'7", combined weight is probably... almost 600 pounds! (sigh)

Let me know, I'd be interested, perhaps. Thanks!

Well, my brother would say something like "Bah. It says 500 and easily MEANS twice that!"

Then again, his boat seat probably said that last spring when I broke that and took a spill into a pile of fishing lures, too.

I'll ask him about it!
