Testing the Waters..... Found-Thanks..

Postby DonT on Mon Jan 16, 2012 12:11 pm

Does anyone have a spare Remington Key? This is the one they use on the 870's to lock the safety). Just picked up a wingmaster that came without it and although I don't have any intention for using it I like to have one around just in case.... ;)

Thanks folks..

I'm not finding it, but I know I've seen it recently. I'll keep an eye out and drop you a message if it turns up.

Will the j-lock from a 700 work on the shotgun? I probably have one.

You should be able to get one from Remington just by calling them and asking for one, seeing as it is a safety type of thing.

45Badger,

It is the j lock type key so that would probably do it.... If you have one let me know..

For the folks that recommended going to Remington, thank you and I do realize a phone call will get one coming my way but I thought I would see if someone local had one first....

The rem and master locks are easy to pick with a basic lock-pic set. I think Northern Hydraulics sells some lock-pic sets.
