Hello all,

****Trip delayed due to terrible road conditions in Iowa (35 and other major highways were actually closed in Iowa Thursday and into Friday!). I can't believe this hasn't sold yet! One last chance to grab this at, yes, $220! I'll also throw in a nice but fairly basic, like new carrying case.****

I am selling an excellent condition MacBook 2008 model and I'm posting it here first in case another forum member is interested, also for a hopefully quick sale. Here's the specs:

I'm asking $260 ***NOW $220!*** to move it fast. Want more Christmas cash in my pocket than a laptop I no longer need sitting on a shelf.

2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
Fresh install of Mac OS 10.6.8 on a newly formatted drive. I performed a deep format of the drive to erase my data and verify the integrity of the drive itself
120 GB Hard drive
Optical drive will read both CD and DVD, but only writes CD
Built in webcam for video conferencing etc
Built in WiFi for wireless browsing
Display is in excellent condition without a single dead pixel or problem that I can find
Battery was replaced about a year ago, so it hold an excellent charge
Overall the laptop is in great condition. Not perfect, but anything wrong you may find with it is a minor cosmetic issue

Not sure what else I can say about it. Great laptop for internet browsing, email, etc. I want it gone before Christmas, hence the price, so if anyone is interested, please let me know so we can complete the transaction quickly.

13.3" - the standard MacBook size. Although, it may already be gone. There is a great deal of interest at this price, so I'll keep you updated.

It's the white one. Just prior to the unibody models. I am definitely pricing it so it moves. Hopefully fast! That's only $220 for an excellent condition thoroughly tested Intel MacBook. I'd rather have the Christmas travel cash than have this collecting dust on the shelf. I can meet almost anytime in the twin cities area. The battery is fully charged so you can check it out wherever we may meet.

Here's the specs from a popular Apple website for this model (notice the "retail value" section near the bottom of the page - although that seems high to me, and it does say "retail").

72 hour bump. Primarily using the "bump" to mention our Christmas plans changed drastically due to the storm and road closures in Iowa and further south, so I'm still in town and it's still available.
