clean your garage

Postby sochr000 on Tue Apr 28, 2009 2:45 am

So, I'm not sure if anyone'd be interested in this, but I'm going to offer anyway.

I've been getting into small engine repair lately, not sure if it's another of those hobbies that I'll abandon, or if it's something that I'll learn from and stick with, who knows. But, since I'll be in Elk River for the Appleseed thing on the 9th/10th of May, I figured I'd throw this out there.

If you've got any chainsaws or boat motors that you don't use, are broken, wife is nagging about, etc. I'd be willing to take them off of your hands. If the saw runs, and is of a decent brand I'd be willing to negotiate a payment even, but mostly looking for something to rebuild. Not looking to really spend much, I've got a tendency to get bored with stuff like this and don't want to be out a whole bunch of money when I throw the junkers away.

So, if you want to get rid of it, let me know, worst I can do is not have room in the pickup.

I will be meeting up with sochr on the 9th and can grab smaller stuff from folks around the east - west - south st.paul areas and downtown if anybody wants to participate .

Just another option to help out when I can... ;)

Would you be interested in a small toro snow blower that does not run?

is it seized? if it still could technically run, then yes please I'll take it!

It ran last time I used it -- 3-4 years ago. Just have no need for it anymore.

works well enough for me, where are you located? my may 9th-10th trip got shortened to may 9th, but I'll be in the area afternoon/evening late, late evening on the 8th so I could meet you then also. PM me with any information.

edit: change in work schedule, so likely wont be in the area until 2am or so on the 9th, so no local pickup until the afternoon on the 9th I guess.

For anyone that cares, Bababooey is a pretty good guy (gotta wait till that other check gets cashed to call him a good guy), he showed up on time, brought the snowblower (thanks Realtor_packing_heat), and was easy to work with. Figured I would put it out there that he's a good guy (this is starting to sound E-bay Feedback-ish).

I have a 10 year old murray lawn mower if you or anyone else would like it. It will start right up run for a few seconds and then stop. PM me if your interested. I am in Shoreview. It's a long drive from Bemidji but maybe some local will take it.
