turbolesstom wrote:Up for sale is a 2007 Candy Apple Red Yamaha R6. It has been garage kept it's whole life. The odometer currently reads 15,300. I do a little weekend riding so that will increase slightly. I purchased the bike in June 08' from Waldoch Sports in Forest Lake. The bike had 800 miles on it then, the original owner traded it in for a different color. It's first break-in service was performed by the dealership when I bought it. Oil has been changed at the intervals set in the owner's manual. I use YamaLube and a Yamaha oil filter. The bike has been ridden on the street only, no track time. I did the following service this spring (~500 miles ago):
New Spark Plugs
New Air Filter
Oil&Filter Change
Complete Coolant Flush (Filled it up with Engine Ice)
Brand new Battery

I have a couple of modifications to the bike:
Greggs Smog Block-Off Plates (Installed during spark plug change)
Stomp Pad Tank Grips
New this spring Driven Gel Grips
Fender Eliminator
Smoked Integrated Tail Light
Flush Mount Turn Signals
Stainless Steel Brake Lines (Brake Fluid was changed last year)

The front brake pads were replaced last fall (~7,000 miles ago) with Carbone Lorrane SBK pads. They have plenty of life left. The tires I have on now are Bridgestone Battlax BT-016's and they have ~7,000 miles on them. They will need to be replaced soon, but still have alot of grip to them. I will include Vortex Spools and a T-Rex Racing rear stand for an extra $100 dollars.

I am asking $5,750 OBO. Clean MN title in hand, 2011 tabs. I am looking into Suzuki DRZ-400's and other Dual Sports so a partial trade + cash may be worked out. Absolutelty NO joy riders. I will not answer any lowball offers. This is a clean, well-maintained bike. Test rides will require a Valid Drivers License and Motorcycle Endorsment, and is subject to my discretion.

For anyone curious: I am selling the bike because I am headed back to school. It is too nice of a bike to keep outside in a parking lot, so I'm downgrading for the time being.

Feel free to call or e-mail questions or to set up a time to come see it.

Very nice... If I had the $$$ I'd take it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately for both of us, I don't.

Good luck!

Nice bike, don't like the color though, I rode a. Yzf-R1 for a couple years before I moved here. The yammys are imo a very dignified handling racer, not to say they are not incapable of tearing your face off if you want to have a little track time . God luck with your sale, the price is very fair and the bike looks well worth the money.
