Hey, the house is sold and we are going where there is no grass to cut or fertilize. Yahhhh! So I am going to practically give away my 3 year old lawnmower (Sears generic brand) and weed whip for a song and a dance just before we go. I also have a 3 year old drop fertilizer. The mower works perfectly, of course and starts on the first pull, even after sitting all winter (assuming you have stored it properly as I do, with no gasoline in the mower or carberator). The weed whip is a little older but I have never had a bit of trouble with it except that the auto loader for the string never worked so I put the string in by hand when it wears out--a two minute job. If you want them, you can have them for $25 each, just to get rid of them. The only caveat is that you will have to wait until around August 16-18 to actually pick up the equipment so I can mow and trim the last week before we go. A spool of string for the weed cutter and several small gas cans with whatever gas and gas/oil mixture I have left in them go with the two tools since the movers won't move gasoline or anything flammable so I have to get rid of all that stuff too. I also have a new collection bag for the lawnmower that has never been used. If someone takes both weed whip and lawnmower for $50 I will throw in the fertilizer spreader free. Otherwise give me $5 for the spreader. Let me know soon if you want these--I will put them on Craigslist this weekend if no one here speaks for them.
PM me.
