It will be necessary to have your phone number and the color, make, model and license plate number of the vehicle you'll be driving to look at the item. WTF ?

When dealing through Craigslist for $7500 in cash...I'd almost hire my own private security force...

WTF, indeed.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Yes but.. the buyer would be the one with the cash, not the seller :|

Until the exchange is made.
And I would be a little suspicious if three guys showed up in a Pinto.

If they showed up in a pinto they couldn't steel it anyway. Its bigger than a pinto. Question....... Are there any pintos in existence anymore?

We fit 120 feet of 3" copper pipe into a pinto. They are big on the inside. (not as big as a Pacer though)

Just a guess, but it could be it's at a storage facility that won't let in visitor vehicles without a prior authorization that includes the visitors name, make/model/license on car, phone number...etc

Yeah but he added (for safety) so I do not think it is for a storage facility. I understand make, model, color of vehicle so you know when the person shows up, but hell get my Lic plate when I roll up if you want it that bad. Sounds hinky to me but than again it could be that dealing with the whacks on Craigslist he wants to take extra precautions for himself and family.

What color is it even? That's a lot of cash for a mechanic or home handy man to have laying around.

Also why would you say you got it at a discounted rate? A fellow at my work got a repo'd krl for 4000 no hutch.
