Hours? Thats a bit of a reach, I am tossing he BS flag... Doing any real heavy work top tier lithium's in heavy or wet wood will last 20-30mintues tops.
I have had Ridgid, Ryobi and I currently have the 18V Makita series LX.
If you want real power and if you are doing serious demo in wood or cutting metal (as in a fabrication setting) I would opt for the corded Milwaukee, they were the original thats why they have the name "Sawzall".
I saw 2 of them this week at Pawn America on Robert St.
