Viridian Green Laser Sights is a recognized leader in innovative green laser sights, weapon mounted tactical lights and holsters in the firearm industry. We are seeking qualified candidates for this full-time position at our Maple Plain, MN location.

This newly created position will spend 50% of their time operating production equipment and 50% of their time performing design, manufacturing, quality and facilities support as well as preventive maintenance.
In this role you will spend:
50% of your time:
• Operation of production equipment
• Production assembly operations

50% of your time:
• Assisting Engineering in building of custom fixtures
• Ensuring optimal up time of equipment through preventive maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and technical support of production and facilities equipment
• Performing product and process testing
o This would include simulation and live fire range testing of products
• Order and maintain tools and supplies
• Perform facilities maintenance and general clean up
• Assist Quality in inspection and testing

The required qualifications and skills for this position include:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong team player
• Experience with blueprint reading and using measuring equipment
• A proactive nature with strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences
• Comfortable around and handling firearms

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or design technician role
• A 2-year manufacturing or machining degree
• Haas CNC programming training/experiences

- Working hours are 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday; some overtime is required.
