Kholster review while at a certain great 'get together' with just the wife, no kids.
I started the day at 8:30 putting on an A-shirt tucked in with a tropical on top. Holster at 3:30 with strong forward cant. Carried XD9SC with 13 round magazine (flush fit). Checked in the mirror and very happy how shirt always slid down whenever I stood straight.
While standing in a long line at Dunwoody waiting for the bus, the family of four behind me left the line after 10 minutes. I was a little paranoid but they didn't look back at me as they walked nor got on the phone so I don't think it was because they 'made' me. After a continued long wait and a 30 minute bus drive, it seems they made a good choice.
It felt very comfortable carrying and walking around. No signage when I walked in regarding carrying. It was a cool day at first but got plenty warm later. I didn't find the holster caused me to sweat any more than usual. Crowds weren't too bad, no bumping, but if personal space was tight, I just draped my arm back. I did lots of standing and walking all day long. All was good until I went to the bathroom at the trough, couldn't really adjust things there and I wasn't totally happy with the position when I went back out. Sure enough, about two hours later, I had a hot spot on my hip and wasn't happy. This was about 6 hours in, however I think that if I had set the holster right (about an inch higher up on the hip) I would've been able to go longer. I started stealing adjustments here and there to relieve pressure.
So all-in-all, I liked this option. I prefer thunderwear when with the kids, but for adult time, the kholster is easy to wear.
I haven't tried tucking with it, maybe someday…..
