The Kriss

Wow, just wow. This baby is ugly but damn....it can perform. At 25 yards i was getting 3-4 inch groups with iron sights, and honestly, im a horrible shot. 2 malfunctions in 400 rounds due to my mistake of not racking the bolt back hard enough on reloads. Recoil is good with litttle or now vertical jump but just a slight twisting to the right. It shoots pretty dirty as after 4 hours im still trying to get the gunpowder residue out of my nose and throat. I imagine with eotech sights it wont be an issue as i can pull my head back and not hunch up on the iron sights. For me its coolness factor is off the chart due to being chambered for the ultimate submachine gun round, .45 acp. I recommend trying it out to anyone who has a hint of interest.

I talked to the rep and he said for 150 bucks the factory would do the modifications to make it a short barreled rifle, provided you had the correct paperwork for it. Pretty good deal i must say! So, while im waiting for mine im getting the paperwork done!

Bill's is the only seller in the state
The production run for this year is only going to be 200
Bill's will have some this weekend.

Bill's had one out at the range while I was there. It got through 1 magazine and jammed every round there after. Their armoror couldn't get it to run either... Thanks but NO THANKS. The Bill's guy said this ones going back! He wasn't impressed!

We figured out that it is the ammo that we were running. We are working with Kriss and with David Slam's help, I think we have it narrowed down to ammo that will work. PMC seems to be the ammo that will do the trick. Don't write the Kriss off. they work well with the right ammo.

It's a snap. A few take down pins and everything important is right there. I haven't completely disassembled it, partially because Ryan (who used to work at Bill's) went to the KRISS armorer's school and said that certain screws, if not tightened exactly, will cause issues. Everything a normal person needs to get at is pretty accessible though, including the whole recoil and buffer mechanism.

From TDI:

In a rare fit of advance warning, this is to let you know that if you have
some free time next Wednesday evening at 2200 ET, you might want to tune to
CBS and catch the season premiere of "CSI New York."

For those of you who didn't know in advance (including us) about last year's
CSI/NY season finale, the entire plot line of the show was about the KRISS
Super V CRB (actually, the model used was our SBR/SO). The CSI team is
trying to figure out how a bank robbery victim managed to get shot with two
rounds in the same hole....as they say, you simply can't buy publicity like
this. If you need to catch up on last season's finale, visit our site at
http://www.kriss-tdi.com/press/in-the-n ... featured-i
n-the-season-finale.html

Since the season-ender was a cliff hanger, we think it's reasonable that the
premiere next Wednesday will also feature the KRISS.

Tell your friends. We have lots of KRISS firearms out with movie armorers,
which is how this CSI event happened, so one never knows where we'll pop up
next. Next time, one trusts, with the KRISS in the hands of the good guys.

All best,
