I purchased a handgun from Matt last weekend. Great transaction as he gave me a good deal and lots of helpful information. After reading this entire thread, I guess it's clear that no one is perfect. What counts is a person's willingness to fix problems. Thanks Matt, GJ.

Gaining, he met with BigDog58 to return my inventory so Jim could take it to Anoka Gun Show this weekend.
Now a few items he sold, I need payment for, but I did ask him to be sure to hold dollars back to fund that transaction involving 3 complete lowers.
He was honest enough to return stuff that I failed to put on my inventory list.
Due to current health conditions, I'm in no hurry-as long as it happens by October2013.

Note: BigDog58 fell hard today and may not be able to set up at show this weekend. He may have a table available = contact him please.

A sad follow-up to this story. I just bought a gun online at Gunbroker and it offered a number of local FFL's. I chose one nearby and it turned out to be Matt's Firearms. I had bought from him three years ago--no more. He's divorced and lives in a modest and [ramshackle] house with his dog. He did not recognize me--not surprising for people in retail. However, I sort of recognized him, despite his aging, hair loss...So when he called in the purchase he mentioned his online name, "Wildfan1". That rang a bell and after he was finished I mentioned that I recalled that name from MNGuntalk and asked whether he was the same guy. He said he did not recall being on that site, although he said he had been on MNGunsite.com. The guy seemed beaten down. Very polite, but deeply affected by the bad turn of his life.
