Taurus 1911

Postby shotz90s on Mon Dec 09, 2013 10:05 pm

I'm going to go against the grain of many and say that the Taurus 1911 I purchased was a wonderful surprise. Fed well, comfortable and IMHO a great value for the money. I've had great success w/ my Dad's .357 as well. Would I like to have a new custom gun? Oh heck yes but for now I am very happy! Short and sweet, I would recommend it.

Glad to hear it! Did you get one with a rail?

I also think this thread needs some pictures :D

No rail with this one. I had some fun with it and hopefully over Christmas I can find some more time for shooting. I picked up a SKS at around the same time and the two of them are best of friends. I'll post some pics after I get some wood grips for it. Right now its all black and beautiful. Heres a stock pic for now ;)

Now these are some good pics! Anyone know if Pachmayr American Legend grips will fit w/ out any problems?
