Wolf's Den-First Experience

Postby Jack's My dog on Mon Jan 06, 2014 3:28 pm

Based on the positive comments of other board members I swung in to the Wolf's Den for the first time today. The guy's in the shop...including the customer's were all friendly and offered to help with any questions I had. The guy behind the counter didn't even look at me funny when I asked my noob question of what the "BB" behind the SWC meant on the box of cast bullets I was looking at.

Overall a positive experience, and I will make a point to do business with them when I am on that side of town.

Didn't even know they had a downstairs... Didn't know how far I could go into the shop. Seemed like a bit of a gray area back by the powders. Have to find out about the basement next time, you definitely sparked my interest.

Be sure to check the bathroom for the low priced deals that never find their way to a shelf available to the public.

But the real deals are in the basement. Don't take no for an answer.

SpoilSport !!!

I've never been downstairs. My curiosity increases every time I look into the nook that leads to the downstairs steps. First of all, I like old buildings, second, curious what remains (????) can be found.

But the deals in the bathroom, ................ look for yourself, but don't bother asking.

All said, I too truly enjoy Wolf's Den and recommend it to all. Stop and say HI.

Wolfs Den is the best.
The only problem is that when I go there on a covert buying mission, my Wife smells Gary's pipe on me and I'm busted :surrender: :surrender:

I visited this place a while back and was amazed how friendly and informative the people were.
