Carlson's Choke Tubes replacement barrel.

Postby PHATSPEED7x on Thu Nov 13, 2014 11:26 pm

I have a Benelli SuperNova tactical 12ga that picked up a couple years ago. Wanted to get a regular field barrel for it. But the cost of factory barrels scared me. I could buy another SuperNova with a field barrel for damn near the same price. So I went searching for an aftermarket barrel. That's when I discovered Carlson's Choke Tubes imports these barrels from Turkey. Chrome lined and threaded for the Benelli Mobil style chokes. I went with the 24" model but they offer barrels in 18.5-30" retail ranges from $250-$300 range. I got mine from wholesale hunter for $200 shipped. Overall fit and finish is good. Has a fiber optic sight and mid bead sight. Looking forward to shooting it.

Did you have to take the rear ghost sight off? If so, how long did it take?
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

My tactical model only had the rifle sights on the barrel. So nothing on the receiver.

Decided to install the barrel on my 12ga Nova and get a Nordic Components extension tube on it...
