Southwest Arms Retail Outlet - Savage

Just a quick note because I didn't see it posted anywhere else here.

I visited ThunderJohn at his new Retail location in Savage on Saturday, which I believe was his grand opening. He had an impressive amount of inventory and ammo on display and sale at very reasonable prices.

It's located in the same strip center as the Tin Shed Tavern and Pizza in Savage off of HWY 13 on the south frontage road behind Boyer Trucks - 12255 Zinran Ave, Savage, MN 55378-2347. correct address is 12280 S. Zinran Avenue, Savage MN 55378
It is great to have a South Metro Gun Shop staffed by polite, congenial, knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend you go check it out and support a guy who has been on this board for a long time.

If John is online, he can fill in the blanks for the correct address and maybe provide a phone number.

I stopped by today. John is great to deal with. He's definitely an asset to the community and a great guy!

John is a great guy. Very honest and reputable. Hoping to get down to his shop some time in the near future to check it out.

The correct address is 12280 S. Zinran Avenue, Savage MN 55378
If anyone is familiar with the area, the location used to be a Subway. Just Google Maps or Mapquest the Tin Shed Tavern & Pizza. There's also a Holiday Gas station connected.
