ARSON:

ARSON

23XX Dupont Ave N Tuesday 5/17/11 1711 hrs 11-138042

MFD responded to a structural fire at this location. The 2-story house was heavily involved with fire. A neighbor saw smoke drifting between houses & saw flames shooting out of windows. She retrieved her 3 yr-old daughter from her yard & the child told her she saw 3 men come out of the house right before the fire. The house is condemned & has been vacant for approx. 8 months. The interior was strewn with trash, so it appears that transients frequented the place. As a result of the house being vacant, reports of transients, & the speed at which the fire spread with the gas shut off, the cause was determined to be arson. Estimated damage is $90,500…the market value. A neighbor suffered radiant heat damage to the side of his home. His property damage is estimated at $10,000. No suspects. No injuries.

the ones that amaze me are folks who are accosted and robbed of very lage amounts of cash. there is one incident in the abouve list where a man in his 50s was robbed by 3 for over 800 in cash!

I dont think I have ever carried that kind of cash.

the noth side sounds like urban hell and if I ran the circus I'd send in the army.
