She promised her son - a tank gunner - before he was deployed that she'd keep the gun with her & use it if necessary. She did. Interesting video...

or fire up the bulldozer. Even the poor man's bulldozer would be an upgrade. (PMB = Diamond strike anywhere match)

Yeap, time to move! I hope she's getting a carry permit too, or does Wyoming have constitutional carry?

She also should spend some more time at the range.

Pretty sure that's either Wyoming Ohio or Wyoming Michigan.

Throwing a few matches in the empty houses is what's needed. I hate "activist" governments but I do see a time and place for condemnation and seizure followed either by giving away properties to those who promise to fix them or digging out the foundations and turning the lots.

Because of the depopulation of some of the old crowded industrial cities, this is going to only get more common. The houses shown in the video at one time were fairly nice homes in what was probably a decent area. The set backs, the spacing, brickwork etc are not prototypical of poor neighborhoods.

She now has clear evidence of squatters to the cops so a good tool would be a quart bottle of Phillips vodka with a rag in it as an accelerant.

Too bad she didn't at least clip the guy in the leg or something so he didn't get away. I'd be extra concerned if I shot at some perp, didn't hit him and the cops didn't catch him either.

Sounds like she shot at him in flight. Better to throw a few wild than try and explain the hot lead kidney punch to 5-0.

That's a good kid to do what he can to care for his family while he's away. Shame it was necessary.

different rules for different people and locations.

in this town, I'd guess the cops are a bit more lenient to shooting an intruder as he hauls ass away from you. Not to mention this is a single, middle aged woman living in a tough area. Maybe these LEO's realize they can't be everywhere all the time, and chose not to try and throw the book at her.

But, maybe you or me, in my house, in a less "tough" area may likely get handled a little differently for doing this.

This isn't a cop bash, so those that think it is may pipe down. Frankly I see situations where not being able to legally pop somebody that just killed your spouse/child, etc. kind of sucks. All because they get to claim they were trying to run away. Well, not kind of...
