What might this "education" be consisted of? That thuggery, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, et al, are all sanctioned by islam and pan "africaism"?

I thought Evanovich was a Jewish name. :|

And with that, this thread has now taken a rather sad turn. Only took 17 pages for full thread drift, is that some new record?

Sad turn indeed. Dean was merely making an oblique reference to the deceased (and community honored, revered for his expertise in his chosen craft/career) person's name to evoke some sorely-needed humor. He was, in fact, spot on with his post in that regard.

Only there have been no memorial pages, its all "we demand justice for a criminal" and "we gonna get you" pages. A straight up memorial page wouldn't have brought the troll heat. You reap what you sow.

I've only read the story once, but I thought the gun mentioned was the robber's which the good guy pointed out as evidence.

The reports that discussed it mentioned he(the permit holder) disarmed and unloaded. I wondered a bit myself why he would both disarm and leave his gun what sounded like some distance from himself; Certainly out of his immediate control.

I was wondering about this too, and the only thing I could come up with was that maybe he went and locked it in his car or something until police arrived.

Sorry, as that was supposed to sound sarcastic, nothing against Dean there, I thought it was funny. Back to the scheduled thread.

Facebook pages for someone who died get converted to memorial pages. So yeah.

There's a story in the Strib today about, wonder of wonders, how he had been trying to turn his life around.

http://www.startribune.com/local/minnea ... 54113.html

Best part...

Evanovich said her family has received threats since the shooting, including some from a Facebook page related to the shooting.

I'm pretty sure the threats on the page weren't directed at you.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Oh but it's ok for them to make threats? I'm not saying either is right. Why post stuff that is out there forever?
