Nope, I just heard the 911 tapes, and plenty of evidence that zimmermans story is BS! Even without the other witnesses that are not jiving with zimmermans account, just based on the 911 tape, zimmerman should not have pursued this person, certainly not a "stand your ground" issue. Even the author of the law in FL said that.

True, what about the feds and the proposed hate crime allegations?

'hate crimes ' are essentially a means to extraordinarily punish someone for what they may have been to be thinking at the time they committed an illegal act of violence.
If Zimmerman is found to have been justified in his actions, it SHOULD mean there was no criminal act committed, thus no hate crime, unless hate crime legislation is written to provide that unprotected classes cannot defend themselves from protected classes.
But then, IANAL, and this is an election year.
