You didn't read the thing where McDonalds admitted that they served their coffee unusually hot so that it would stay hot during "transportation" and that normal hot coffee is served from your coffee maker nearly 50 degrees cooler at 140 degrees?

Maybe she should have asked for an ice cube to cool it down. My point is COFFEE IS HOT!

Or alternatively - maybe McDonald's shouldn't have ignored the 700 other complaints. And they most certainly shouldn't have let this go to jury trial, trying to run the lady out of legal funds, and they certainly shouldn't have gotten busted for it in front of a jury - either way, this has (and I stress) NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GLOCK LAWSUIT

Other than both are taking up the courts time with frivolous lawsuits.

I bet Glock has more than 700 complaints in all the time they've sold firearms.

The point is Glock (if smart) will settle out of court. Otherwise you may see a larger chunk of money and change being made to their pistols.

The point is the guy who gave his kid the opportunity to shoot him by breaking several laws is a douche bag and the case should be laughed out of court.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

First off, I agree with Stradawhovious.

Second, I feel your logic is flawed, which is why I say you're missing the point.

To say Glock has likely received 700 complaints during the time they have been in business is irrelevant when making the comparison to the McDonald's issue.

If Glock had received 700 complaints about the SAME safety concern (as in faulty manufacturing or quality control) and done nothing to correct it, then it might be similar.

So you are saying that Glock hasn't received 700 or more complaints of lack of external safeties?

That people have been shot BECAUSE of a lack of an external safety. I would guess no.

And really? I've got to think you're just trolling at this point. I want to believe that you really can see the difference in business practice between the two.

LOL - Lawsuit Against Glock

One person gets burned and sues and one person gets shot and sues. Mcdonalds got complaints over extra hot coffee and glock gets complaints about lack of safeties. Not much different. What if glock had an external safety would anyone have got shot? He shouldn't get anything but a prison sentence but I bet he gets paid.
