Call 911 even before running away? I'd think that would make trouble just a bit mad. :)

You can't run in heels silly. Yes, 911 would be the first most reasonable response, then a high pitched shriek, and a flailing of arms would seem to be in order.

Let's not forget the car keys self defense ninja technique, if all else fails, I hear this is a VERY effective deterrent........

I think my post kicked this off and I didn't mean to to suggest anything like that. What I will say is that I'm not changing a damn thing about what I do and when I do it.

Hey John, I think that these posts ( I know mine were anyways) are nought more than artiscic liscense through use of sarcasm. See... You're not the only one that can get out of hand with sarcastic comments :D I would never intentionally invite the chance to defend myself or be a hero. That seems a little suicidal and rediculous to me........

But I'd still be up for the consumption of aminal flesh and spirits next to a fire........... :hmm:

ETA: Rucker, I believe that it's my fault that this drift took effect, not yours. So those of you who are upset please realize that my end of this was a joke, although possibly poorly placed. I do not condone "mallninja" behaviour, and will not participate in it. So with that in mind please accept an apology and have a nice day :)

I think we have a plan then. I'm waiting for a favorable convergence of the weather forecast.

Schedule would look something like this:

6-ish show up, food prep, possibly a few early beers. (No booze lakeside, remember the .04 rule.)

7-ish all walk to 33rd st beach, Lake Calhoun, about 1/2 mile. Break into groups of 2 or 3. Pick a direction/destination.

8:30-9-ish, come on back in, toss meat on grill, light fire, CCW-ers secure weapons, if you plan to drink. Quiet conversation. (Mpls "noisy party" ordinance kicks in at 10PM)

It could go late.

What to bring:

Meat, alcohol, sides, wood. CCW optional.

Now all we need is a day.

Not sure I want to know what/how, you know about his legs.
