This doesn't have any affect on Google the search engine, just Google Shopping.

Google the search engine is very selective as to what it shows for gun stuff. Try this, google 'Sportsmans Guide', and open the link.
See any guns and ammunition? No.
Now just copy and paste the 'Sportsmans Guide' address, and go there directly. Shooting stuff and ammo, right at the top.

Odd, I got the same result each time. Ammo links right there.

Really weird, just tried it again, same result. No shooting/ammo stuff on the google link. Hmmmmm....

Googled glock and got results, googled colt 1911 and got a lot of results, not really sure what you guys are talking about.

I deleted my Google + thing, I only kept my gmail account because work necessitates me have it for access to our Google Analytics.

If you are tired of getting search bubbled or tracked by google, I recommend http://duckduckgo.com for internet searches. I used to use google pretty heavily, and it always astounded and bothered me how often the suggested searches would have exactly what I was looking for in the first result after typing in only 1 word.

You're doing it more right than I'm able to. I get no results with the same search.
If I search on "glock 19" I get two results, one of which is an actual glock 19. I'm guessing the results we're seeing are from people violating Google's policy and are removed when identified.

Suggestions:
Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.
