Here is the part you seem to be missing: You don't know the whole story.

I'll use an example that may draw it out for you. When I was a kid, I said rash, stupid things with my friends. See, I was a kid and didn't know any better. One day, some dude thought that he would try and look cool in front of his friends by getting in my face because I was different than them. You could just tell that he thought he was awesome. Regardless, I didn't want any part of it. I just kept walking and he kept spouting off and getting louder, while following me. Eventually, he and a buddy of his cornered me and started his *****-pushfest-show, which is so popular for kids that want to look tough. I attempted to push my way past the two of them when the bigger dude punched me in the face and pulled back like he was going to do it again. I waited for it, grabbed his hand and used his momentum to throw him and his entire body weight out of my path..and I walked away again. He lost his balance and hit his face on the brick wall they'd had me cornered against. He wasn't able to put his arms out in time and his face took the full blow. He was an absolute mess. I had a slightly bloody lip and that was all.

Am I the ******* because he--the aggressor--got hurt worse than I did? No. The difference is that I am here to tell my side of the story. If it had been just him and his buddy to tell it, I'm sure I would have been some angry ninja that attacked them without provocation. The fact that I said rash, stupid stuff to my friends (we didn't have the Facebook back then) provides no further input into the specifics of the incident and doesn't make me guilty or the aggressor.

SO, unless you know the whole story...perhaps you should stop dancing on the grave of some dead kid that you don't know.
