It would help get hunters on our side if when the shotgun and hunting rifle were targeted.

Instead, we need to see any erosion of a firearms right as an erosion to all firearms. The anti's are not stupid in their mission. They have realized that picking away piece by piece is far easier and effective in the long term than an all out grab.
