Here is what I received for a response:

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.
We understand that this is a sensitive topic, and that some of our customers may not agree with our choice to pause the promotion of firearm-related deals. Groupon has always aimed to offer a diverse range of products and services to meet the various tastes and interests of our subscribers. However, at this time, enough customers and merchants have voiced their opinions that we believe a hiatus is warranted.
Please note that we have never sold guns, and this hiatus only applies to firearm-related deals including shooting ranges, clay pigeon shooting, and concealed weapons training classes. We have not made a final determination regarding this category -- we are simply taking a break and may reevaluate in the future.
We genuinely appreciate your opinion and the feedback you've given us. I'll be sure to share your comments with the appropriate people.

If you have any groupons that you recently purchased from the FAQ here is their refund policy:
I bought a Groupon deal – can I return the voucher?

We are always here to help! We have a number of ways to come to your aid, depending on the reason you’re asking:

“I just changed my mind.” Any unredeemed voucher may be returned for a refund within the first seven days after purchase. After that, all sales are final.

Also, if you "accidentally" purchase one every day and then had to ask for a refund because you remember that you will not do business, I am sure that all those refund transactions would not cost them too much in transaction fees.

I also sent a note that I disagreed with their policy and got the same response. We would need a lot of people sending e:mails that they disagree, to get them to change their minds.

Or just walk away. I haven't seen what I would call "deals" unless you believe the MSRP. Most I have lookes at can be replicated or improved on with minimal effort.
