Pretty-much. I was surprised to see the Oath Keepers on there, but not at all now that I think about it. I think .gov wants agents it can count on to enforce the will of the state rather than uphold the rights of the people.

The letter is clearly a political attempt by an authoritative and public figure and institution to discredit, intimidate and silence those who would otherwise advocate and protect their civil rights under the 2A. The irony (without knowing specifics about the groups) is that the "patriot" groups are apparently exercising and advocating their constitutional rights just as the founders would have intended.

From the list from Alabama: "Assemblies Union of the Several States of the Union of the States of the United States of America" That's a mouthful. I think I hurt myself trying to say that.

You won't see them being demonized by the media for that very reason - Maybe there something too it!
