That **** LaPierre said at the Newtown was right in that banning stufff isn't going to help, but the way in which he said it, and the way he went on about 15 year old video games was pure derp.
To paraphrase: The NRA is the worst gun rights organization in the United States, except for all the other ones. (GOCRA excepted. They're **** brilliant and the NRA could learn a thing or two from them.)
SAF is a really good national gun rights organization, but they don't have the money, power, or name recognition of the NRA. You can change that by joining and donating. (see my signature for a link to do so.)
I may not agree with the NRA on 100% of the issues or 100% of their tactics, but I don't agree with my church on 100% of their issues either...I still am a member of both and donate to both because they both do very good things with my money.
