I thought that I heard a radio jab this morning that said someone was trying to get "Universal Checks", pushed through.

It's not the LAWS you necessarily have to worry about, it's how the laws are regulated.

Does that mean amendments like in HF285 are NOT going to slip in between the cracks and become laws they can't pass bills to get?

To the two forum members who have used lines from my posts as their signatures, can't you quote Jesse Ventura or some other great Minnesotan instead of stealing mine? - LePetomane

Yep, it could just be a ploy so their phones stop ringing.

There is a budget that needs to be passed and the DFL caucus can't even get their own to step in line with that. Having to browbeat their own and have a second vote on the budget a couple days ago was embarrassing to them. The Governor, Senate, and House are not real close on the budget deals. They will need what time is remaining to work deals and screw us all on taxes. I doubt they will bring 2A stuff up after making as much noise as they did about dropping it. Not that it couldn't be brought back, but I doubt it.
