So felony possession of a firearm is considered "Terrorism"......

Possession of a thinking, logical, analytical, reasonable mind that uses common sense is also probably considered a terrorist weapon.

According to the Merrianm-Webster dictionary, "terrorism" is defined as "the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion". I know that I feel terrorized when politicians attempt to coerce me into giving up my 2A rights and other freedoms which I must constantly defend.

Apparently some terrorists and terror plots can be identified much quicker than others...

Well, most of us here I think recognize Heather as a terrorist for constantly attacking our 2A rights.

Being a dumbass doesn't make one a terrorist, merely a dumbass.

According to the FBI he was plotting to attack some locals. From other news sources it appears to have been the local police.

Suspect Buford Rogers Arrested in Montevideo
FBI Minneapolis
May 06, 2013

Chief Division Counsel Kyle A. Loven
(763) 569-8540
On Friday, May 3, 2013, special agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in conjunction with the Montevideo Police Department; the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; the Minnesota State Highway Patrol; the Bloomington Police Department; the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office (South Dakota); the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources; and members of CEE-VI (Cooperative Enforcement Effort), executed a search warrant at 1204 Benson Avenue, Lot #8, in Montevideo, Minnesota. Several guns and explosive devices were discovered during the search of the residence.

In addition to the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement personnel arrested Buford Rogers, born December 6, 1988, in Montevideo. Mr. Rogers was taken into custody without incident. A complaint against Mr. Rogers has been filed in Federal District Court, District of Minnesota. The investigation remains ongoing.

The FBI believes that a terror attack was disrupted by law enforcement personnel and that the lives of several local residents were potentially saved. The terror plot was discovered and subsequently thwarted through the timely analysis of intelligence and through the cooperation and coordination between the aforementioned agencies. Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Division of the FBI J. Christopher Warrener stated that “cooperation between the FBI and its federal, state, and local partners enabled law enforcement to prevent a potential tragedy in Montevideo.”

Mr. Rogers is presumed innocent until/unless he is convicted in a court of law.

Probably his biggest error was to not have a student visa. They seem to make pretty good cloaking devices.

This story smells worse than the Boston bombing scandal... I love how Fox 9 edited the interview with the suspect’s old man from the 5:00 pm to the 9:00 nice work cutting the clips to make him look even more white trash, great job Lyden!! Ya douche bag! The dude was arrested on his way home from work, the AK wasn’t with him, it was at the single-wide... not sure how they claim he was in possession of it. Does anyone know how the law really works when it comes to felons and firearms? I know some convicted felons if they were to crash for the night at my place could someone call 5-0 on me and say they are in possession???

Fairly sure that if you live with someone prohibited from owning a firearm it's a no go unless you have it locked up somehow.
Who knows about them crashing at your place but I can see it being loose enough for them to say they were in possession even though it's not his.

As an aside I hope they nail this guy to the wall.

Can't be a Minnesotan. I believe it is against state statute to be named "Buford" and live in this state.....
