Except no one in this thread was trying to bring up some sort of impassioned Obama defense. Or even a defense of liberals in general. They're simply pointing out that resorting to name calling will get you (correctly) ignored by pretty much everyone. Likewise if you somehow think you don't need to make a logical discussion.

Most of us figured this out in 2nd grade. ;-)

Really pony? You call the most names and post the most pics for taking shots a people. Please quit acting like you aren't a Internet troll. But since you got called out in this thread, why don't you run and hide like you always do. Or post tin foil.

First question...why is this picture that accompanies this article a Glock with a bunch of 7.62x38R ammo?

Image

Second, yes, the guy may be stupid, but really the fault lies with the stupid law.

AND...the law is getting stupider. Because so few guns have factory 7 round magazines, the interpretation of Heller is that it becomes a de facto ban through "irrational and onerous obstacle" and hence illegal.

So they are telling New Yorkers 'you can have a 10 round mag...just load 7 in it'

This brings up all sorts of questions. If you have one in the chamber...it's not in the mag! So can you load 7, chamber one, pull the mag and top it off? If the police pull you over are they going to be knowledgeable enough to note the difference? What if there are a few stray rounds rolling around in the range bag next to the mag with 7 loaded? Are they going to be counted? The only way I can think of to prove there were more than 7 rounds in the magazine would be for the cops to unload each round and count out loud while recording it.

(this is asinine angles of the law in addition to the just general asinine angle of the law that limiting mag capacity has any impact on crime)

Agreed.

I'm surprised he didn't jump all over you for calling him a troll. Maybe a couple of months ago, I said he was trolling, and he said I called him a troll (which is something I didn't do then, but now I will....) Heffay is a troll who loves to troll. It gets old, but it keeps this place from being boring. Likewise, I'm sure I rattle a few cages too, that's life, but I'm not a troll since I don't do it to create drama or entertain, in my case, I'm just opinionated, vocal about it, and don't really care what other people think or not.

It gets old when someone creates drama for their own entertainment (aka trolling), so I know what you mean.

He's a troll of the worst kind. A hypocritical one. He generally quits playing when you mind him of things he's said, his lack of real world information, his flip flopping, etc.

You rattle a lot of cages but I'm not allowed to comment on that

True.

I do. I always have and I always will.

I remember one time back in the 3rd grade (1975), when KISS was all the rage, I hated them - and vocalized the opinion. (I thought they looked cool, but their sound wasn't heavy enough for me... I was already listening to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Rainbow, etc... I wanted Metallica, but they didn't exist until 1981.) Needless to say, I wasn't popular, and that's ok. I was honest then and still am now, so it's nothing new to me, nor do I act one way online vs. offline. I'm one of those people you love or hate, and I'm ok with that too.

Yup. I would certainly hope so.

Some people may not like me, but at least they can respect me. If I don't like you, I have no problem telling it to your face. Likewise, if I like you, the same thing applies. I'm not going to play mind games, politics, act one way vs. another to get something from you, etc. (I'm also not bothered if someone say they don't like me or like me, to my face, either.) Even though I'm from MN, I never bought into the passive-aggressive "Minnesota Nice" / don't-make-waves-and-smile-now-so-we-don't-have-a-confrontation-as-we-attempt-to-keep-up-appearances. Out East, people pretty much tell you like it is. I can respect that. Maybe that's part of the reason I have never really "fit in" in MN. I don't play the game. I'm rare and I know it. There's no way to say it without sounding egotistical, which is not how it's meant, but perhaps if more people in the World were like me in that regard, we'd have a lot less bs and problems to deal with since everyone would lay their cards on the table. Ah well... some people don't OC either out of fear. Hide their gun, hide their true self, etc. meh. Whatever.

Anyway..... for once, I think you and I actually agree on something. *looks for the sky to fall now*

What about guns? Naked chicks? beer? or better yet.... naked chicks with guns who serve us beer after a hard day of shooting on the range?

Guns are way to broad. You've said some really out there stuff in relation to guns.
Never heard your thoughts on broads, nor beer. That type of chick sounds expensive.
