Except MSN was reporting last night that he only had a shotgun and may have "acquired" the other weapons during the incident. :?

Major news outlets reporting that he didn't have an AR15 at all, quoting the FBI.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/09/17/navy-yard-shooting-aaron-alexis-washington/2824793/

"Contrary to earlier reports provided by law enforcement officials, Alexis was not believed to be in possession of an AR-15 rifle." The FBI stated that "no AR15 was found at the scene...only a double barrel shotgun and a pistol".

We've gone from "shotgun only" to "3-round burst AR15" to "AR15 shotgun" to "evil semi-automatic AR15" to "no AR15 at all". Classic.

Police collected three spent .45-caliber Glock shell casings at the site.

Perhaps they were .45 G.A.P. cases... ?

Oh goog God. They are calling it a "law enforcement-style shotgun" - these people have no idea what they are talking about.

Last night on CNN these two morons were already going on about how deadly the AR-15 is and how with no training at all you can pick one up and put an entire mag in a 2" group at 100 yards as fast as you could pull the trigger. This gal just kept going on about how the idea of that is just so terrifying....I almost puked. Luckily just in the nick of time I changed the channel.

Computers and Guns. Two things 99.99% of the population is confused about.

"I was uploading my Layer 2 datagram packets via my PPP session to the AOL.com server and routered it through my switch via my NAS."

"So my .45ACP AR-15 shotgun has a 15 round high-capacity clip."

*shakes head and walks away very slowly*

The peoples iz con-fuzed-ed..... and don't even get me started on the media.
