Looks might there might be a couple of people injured.
If they would quit talking about it on so many news channel for the whole week before the anniversary of Newtown maybe some of the kids wouldn't think this is the way to resolve their problems.

"A gunman opened fire at a high school in Colorado on Friday, injuring two classmates before killing himself, authorities said.

The shooter, who said he was looking for a specific teacher by name, was identified only as a student at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said.

A second student who confronted the gunman was shot and seriously wounded, Robinson said. The third student was being treated for a minor injury that might not have been a gunshot wound, he said."

Why don't we have laws that prevent students from buying guns or at least make it illegal to shoot another student.

They passed laws to prevent this yet it still happens They will be screaming for more laws again that will only disarm the victims of the next killing spree.

It is interesting how these incidents happen in liberal areas. Colorado (Commierado) has taken a big political turnaround recently.

What I find interesting is that the left is still trying to blame the guns in these incidents while it has been proven repeatedly that mental illness was the prime factor. I would think that the left who claim to be so compassionate toward those with mental illness would be all over this. After all, they are the ones who insist that their kids be medicated from cradle to grave with Adderal, Ritalin, happy pills, antidepressants, etc. A lot of the children of the ones I know here are all on these pills. Can't figure them out.

I think it's more than that. Liberals are the masters of denial and sweeping things under the rug. This will undoubtedly bring about new laws in the state forbidding taking shotguns into schools.

The liberal media is beating this to death. By talking about it so much, they're
1 - Pushing an agenda that will do the complete opposite of what they want it to do, and
2 - Giving the next generation of evil-doers ideas about how to get the most attention

The media does empower these criminals by shifting attention from the root cause (mental Illness) and focusing on the weapons used. Notice the coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing. These guys never fired a shot.

His Intent was Evil

http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/12/14/21903465-his-intent-was-evil-colorado-high-school-gunman-intended-to-shoot-numerous-people-sheriff-says?lite&ocid=msnhp&pos=2

Sheriff Robinson said "the response of a school resource officer was 'absolutely critical' to the fact that that there were no additional injuries or deaths".

Confronted by the officer, the teen committed suicide less than a minute and a half after he entered the building, armed with a shotgun and multiple rounds of ammunition that he purchased legally, the sheriff said.

It seems that "good guys with guns" is a good thing to have around when "evil people" are out and about!

So once again, all of this “multi-jurisdictional”, “multi-department” will most likely not even be put into play until way after the event has concluded itself. It’ll be one or two armed individuals (good guys - LE, teachers, Administrators, armed individuals) who will confront, contain and put a stop to the evil person’s actions. (Usually by suicide as was this case, Newtown, Conn, Columbine, Co, etc.)

Anyone notice how a kid got stabbed by another kid outside of Tartan High School the very same day and it hardly made the news? The media got what they wanted, a school shooter in Colorado on or near the Newtown anniversary and nothing else mattered. Not even school violence in their own backyard.

Good point. The fuzzies and anti gun people are probably wishing for a mass shooting. That would have fit right into their agenda.
