Then you'd love Mike Cargill. A gay African-American gun store owner Republican. Great guy! Good prices too!
But exactly. For the time being, I'm single issue as well.

Really? Tell me, before you came here, did you stand up for liberty by carrying your firearm:
- on the premises of a polling place on the day of an election
- on the premises of a racetrack
- in a business that derives 51 percent or more of its income from the sale or service of alcoholic beverages
- on the premises where a high school, collegiate, or professional sporting event or interscholastic event is taking place
- on the premises of a hospital, or on the premises of a nursing home
- in an amusement park
- on the premises of a church
- at any meeting of a governmental entity.
I've carried at all these places here in Minnesota except a racetrack, and that's only because I've never been to a racetrack.
In a manner such that people could see it?

It would still be wrong and they can come get them if they dare. Why? Because this isn't a pure democracy. We are a Republic in which certain rights are recognized, not granted, by our Constitution, one of which is to keep and bear arms, which shall not be infringed! Molon Labe!
No offence, but you sound just like the Union boys on the Iron Range with their Obama and Frankin bumper stickers plastered all over their vehicles. Any and all conversation with them about the 2nd Amendment, always starts and ends with " I'd like to see em try".
These are the same guys that still have the same box of 30-30 shells that they have had since, forever. Don't shoot, don't practice, don't care and can't hit ****. Beer bellied blowhards that will run for cover faster than fast if they actually ran into agents that, TRY.
Democrats, go figure.

It's not that I don't think that the folks proclaiming "Molon Labe" all over facebook and gun forums wouldn't put up a fight; it's that I think they would, foolishly, and then die alone in a pool of their own blood. That would serve little purpose as the media would portray "the lone gunman" as an anti-establishment kook. That likely won't start the "next revolution" either.

If I'm alone and they are many, well armed, in full tactical gear, have the drop on me, and I've zero chance of escape or survival, yep. Because again, what purpose would my death serve dying in such a manner? If you want to go down that way, that's you.
Texastransplant wrote:We don't have to be "lone gunmen" you know. You could stand up with us.
This is more what I'm hoping would happen. Some may get disarmed but then come back with troops of their own.

I think what's at issue in this is whether the CT law could be challenged and considered "unreasonable" and also whether confiscation itself, under no pretext, is unconstitutional.

On the first point, I concede. One would hope, however, that once the long knives come out, places like this forum would explode with information and the...well, you know. Which leads us to the second point, with which I whole-hearted lay agree.

Press Release
To Officials of the State of Connecticut: Either Enforce or Repeal 2013 Anti-gun Laws.
It’s time for the State to enforce the tyranny they passed or repeal it entirely.
....
“From Governor Malloy, to Undersecretary Lawlor to DESPP, Commissioner Schriro, and Lieutenant Cooke of the firearms unit, and including Lt. Paul Vance, the state needs to [the "S" word], or get off the pot. The fact is, the state does not have the balls to enforce these laws. The laws would not survive the public outcry and resistance that would occur.” - Connecticut Carry Director Ed Peruta
