Hard to feel sorry for our "friends" in New York - they got the legislators and legislation they voted for. The 10% of the population that would actually own something like this should have fought a little harder and been a lot more vocal before they passed all those laws and it wouldn't have to be an issue.
As for the weapon, looks weird, but hey if it fills a niche than I'm all for it.
