Note that California, despite their draconian firearm laws, *is* a stand-your-ground state. MN almost was, the legislature passed it but Dayton Vetoed it. California has a better and a more modern self defense law than we do - that just sucks.

modern - not sure thats the right word for it? to me ''modern'' would mean you can't do anything but to call the police and cower or run. aggressive or maybe lenient could be better maybe...

maybe thats just me though? sorry to bother!
