My suggestion came true. Chief of police resigns! Now the mayor needs to go!

You are an *******, get off my side!

Can anyone honestly state that while trying to sort this out, FJ540's sentiment didn't, at some point, cross their mind when they heard the cop was a muslim?

Given the political makeup of the city’s leadership and its desire to hire more black officers, especially those with roots in the Somali community, it is highly unlikely that investigators will seek to find out if Noor was motivated by his own religious bias in the killing of Justine Damond, said former Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Michele Bachmann raises an issue that you know is on many minds.

The question that needs to be answered is, was this shooting a mistake or was it a “cultural seizure” by a Muslim officer who snapped and acted irrationally at the sight of a woman in her pajamas?

I think that's ridiculous. It was nothing more than a poorly trained officer without the right mindset for law enforcement who accidentally and negligently pulled the trigger on his gun. There's no evidence whatsoever to make such a silly assumption as the one that Michelle is insinuating.

Accidentally? What a load of crap. You don't accidentally pull a trigger when your pointing it at someone. Can see it while removing from a holster.
Negligently, you bet.
But since he hasn't talked to officials, leads me to consider the police are trying to get a good cover story together. Until he comes out with a statement, we have no idea how this will go down. Either way will be ugly. Sucks the tax payers have to pay for the mistakes. Don't think the insurance will cover what the family will demand.

My question - is it normal for the senior officer to be a second year?

I thought they usually picked officers with a bit more experience before they put them in a car with a rookie.

I haven't own a car in a few years, trucks only. Is an abdomen shot possible from the passenger side of the cruiser without some height adjustment from a normal shooting position?

I'm wondering when the WLM riots (uhh March) begin? I can't wait to march in it.

Since Australia bans most citizen handgun ownership they'll be calling for disarming the police as well.

On the Fox news article the comment section had some people saying that the Glock had a hair trigger. LMFAO. I often read comments there to see what people with negative IQ's will come up with. I also am prone to calling people "retromingent" (IOW say it don't spray it) and telling them that if brains were gasoline they wouldn't be able to power a piss ant around the inside of a donut hole.

You know they would lock everyone up if WLM did the same crap as BLW did shutting down roads. Apparently we know better, they don't.
