Article said he fired on the perp as he was running away. So that may have gotten him the charge. Hopefully the turd that was ventilated gets some charges too.

My first post, sorry no introduction. I read the forums pretty regularly but don't reply. I hear constantly from the media and pretty much everyone I talk to... conceal carry permit, also most Armslist ads. It just a small example of how uneducated people are on such an important matter.

It’s only important to a very small percentage of the people who actually have permits. To most people with permits and all people without permits, almost nothing could be less important. They are just words, they can’t hurt you.

The question, then, is whether that "little scuffle" justified deadly force.

I wouldn't presume to state an opinion on way or the other, except that clearly the Strib doesn't have its competent writers working weekends.
