Police missing Guns

Postby Lastgunshop on Mon Jun 01, 2009 12:14 am

About a few weeks ago, I called K.M.S.P. Fox News with a tip about a break in at the Red Lake Police Dept. Where many guns were stolen. One was a Full Auto AK-47. More on on this story see http://www.missingguns.net It looks like Fox News will not run the story.

Great idea for a website! Not that I could afford a full auto AK, I will keep a look out for others that are listed. Too bad KMSP will not run the story. :?

Oh JOY! not only is there some turd with a full-auto rifle running around up here, but when they do something dumb with it, it'll make the news as "Another rampage with an automatic rifle!"

I hate people sometimes pretty much all the time...

Edited to add:
Either that, or they'll take it to Mexico! lol

It's nice that you are making an effort and going out of your way to make local law enforcement look bad.

Actually, they didn't need any help on this one.

Well, this is a pretty big deal, and if it were anyone else (his gun shop, private gun owner, etc.) the story would have made the evening news easily. I don't think he's trying to make them look bad, just to be held accountable and come out reassuring the public they changed whatever failure that allowed this to happen.

Well I am sure steps were taken to prevent this with or without Mark Kosicelski's tip to the news.

But it seems odd, or possible that some other agenda is being served when the people sponsoring the website (Kosicelski's Guns) as shown here http://missingguns.net/Missing_A-C.html are the same people calling media outlets with tips.

Well, if there were media attention to the case we would know what steps are being taken, and how long they expect to complete them. Right now that knowledge isn't as readily available. I'm sure he just created the site to bring light to the story in his own way, along with building onto it to allow other stolen weapons to be added to the site.

Channel 9 poking their nose around won't necessarily give you the answer you are looking for. I just don't buy into your idea that calling the tip line was a noble piece of public service.

I waited 2 weeks for FOX News to do something before I put up this web site, with my own money. This web site is not only about the police but anyone can list thier missing or stolen guns for free.

I called them and meet with them and give them the list of stolen gun, so I did a little more than called them. I never said this was a noble piece of public service. You do need to get a life.

Editing the post to make it look like what I was saying was a response to something you said is cheap. It was an interaction between myself and Morgasco, however you would not be able to tell that as you formatted it as "quoted" response to something you said.
