The NZ authorities are being tight lipped about the details of this guy and his firearms. After reading the hoops one has to jump through to obtain a NZ firearms license, My guess is either someone dropped the ball (big time) in identifying this dirtbag, or his guns weren't legal.

So we are up against the perfect citizen that one day snaps and becomes public enemy #1.

I do not believe we can ever stop this scenario in any capacity.

Unless we're to believe he was an exemplary citizen who never gave anyone reason to question his deep rooted hatred.

It’d sure be nice if someone would blame the actual killer for doing the actual killing. Atleast give him a participation trophy.

Remember we are talking about the brains of a seriously disordered individual. It doesn't have to make sense when it is clearly a senseless act. Blaming the implements used to commit the crime is lazy and transparently agenda driven.

Apparently in NZ the prime minister can basically dictate law and the government engine makes it happen. I hope we never live under a monarchy such as this.
