Lynchburg, VA, United States (AHN) – When a man in Lynchburg, Va. reached in his pocket to pay for dinner, he instead grabbed his pistol and accidentally shot himself.
Wayne Meredith Latham, 56, ran out of the Waterstone Pizza restaurant in a panic after wounding himself on Saturday night.
He was found by local police about a block away from the restaurant, and paramedics arrived and took him to a local hospital, the Lynchburg News & Advance reported.
