The story of two guns that killed police officers
I especially like the way they try to humanize the cop killer in the description under one of the videos:
Darryl Jeter shot to death Indiana State Trooper Scott Patrick on Dec. 22, 2003. The gun was a .380 FEG semiautomatic that Jeter accepted instead of money to settle a basketball debt. Jeter said he had planned on selling the gun to buy 'Dora the Explorer' dolls for his daughter. But fate intervened.
No. Fate didn't intervene. The whole "I planned to sell it to by my daughter a doll" is 100% farm-fresh manure. He made a conscious decision to carry around a loaded gun which is likely a violation of his parole. Third, he made a conscious decision to use said loaded gun on a cop. The WaPo makes it sound as if it all happened by accident. This kind of cr@pola really pi$$es me off.
I gotta stop. I'm starting to vent steam out my ears. Figuratively speaking, of course.
