Uptown beatings -> then they pick the wrong target

Thanks to Chunkstyle for posting this on the Carry Forum

Original Article From the Star Tribune
"A group of violent robbers struck six Uptown pedestrians three nights in a row within a six-block area, beating people into concussions with fists, kicks and, in at least one case, a set of brass knuckles, while taking phones and wallets, Minneapolis police said."

There are some similarities to robberies and beatings in Dinkytown as well.

And then we have this:
Uptown robbers target the wrong guy
The Uptown robbers struck again Tuesday night, only this time their victim was armed, police say.
[...]
"He had just parked his car in the parking lot," said [Minneapolis Police Lt. Mike] Fossum. "These guys blitzed him. They just started kicking his ass. He managed to get off three rounds."

The suspects, one a heavyset Hispanic man and another a thinner Hispanic man, ran off but may have been injured, police said.

Error warning. No former Marine EVER describes themselves as an ex marine.

He's being called a vigilante  , and they're wondering where the missed shots ended up.

Hmm... a vigilante is usually someone who goes out seeking justice. I think he just wanted to get a beer without any drama or beatdowns. That's why he wasn't drinking at home with the wife. ;)
