The “Stop Bush’s Death Pimps” would be better if it said “Stop God’s Death Pimps”. Or “A Minister Of Death Preying for War” sounds good too. “God loves the Marines because we keep Heaven stocked full of fresh souls.” “We are the worlds 911” I never liked that one. “They keep Marines in a glass case that says break in case of war” is the best one I can think of now or “The Deadliest Thing In The World is a Marine Rifle Squad” is another one. Or how about “Dealer of Death” or “Death Dealer”.

Oh wait she was trying to insult people that train night and day, prey for war and will go into harms way at the word of the President. Be it Bush or any other person elected to the office. People that would be insulted if someone else got to go in harms way and not them.

My e-mail to Mayor Bates:

Mayor Bates,

I have been following the recent developments and resolution stating that the USMC is not welcome in Berkley.

You realize, of course, that you are allowed to to do things like this because we are a free country..............whose freedoms have been guaranteed in large part by the brave unselfish deeds by members of our armed forces.............in particular the US Marines.

Shame on you and your city council for the actions you have taken.

Mayor Bates and the Berkley City Council,

I have been following with interest the events regarding the Marine recruiting station in your city. Your actions, based on emotion, rather than real knowledge of facts, are appalling, to say the least. I read a book by Ernest Callenbach called Ecotopia.Written in 1975, it is about the west coast of the US seceding because it felt that it had better solutions to the environmental and social problems which the country faced at the time. Perhaps the city of Berkley should look into the idea. In the interim, I fully support withholding all Federal money for the city of Berkley until such time as you come to a decision.

Sincerely,
nyffman
