awesome story, but this seems, to me, a little f%#$d up

'I started calling 911. I called five times. They kept hanging up on me," the 10-year-old said.
"Every time, they (911 dispatchers) said we'll transfer you, then he would get disconnected because they were transferring him to our precinct," the mom said
After about 25 minutes of trying to call 911, deputies arrived to investigate a crime that this community is not used to seeing.

I couldn't agree more, some idiot needs to get fired. But I thought the article was an excellent example of why the law-abiding citienry needs to be armed to properly defend themselves.
