Army Chooses Remington Over Colt

The rifles will be manufactured at Remington's Ilion, N.Y. factory. The contract has a procurement maximum of 120,000, which the Army Times estimates would take the deal's value to over $80 million.

Due to budget cuts, the Army has pulled their contract with Remington and has now awarded it to Century Arms Int'l.

Wasn't Bushmaster making the Remington AR-15s??? They must have tooled up a bit for this contract.

M4 TDP is still M4 TDP. Gov inspectors are still gov inspectors.

I heard Taurus is going to design 15 new guns for the Army and then Mossberg is going to customize them with plastic.
