I know what you're saying, and I'm aware of what Minnesota's permit is called, but what the article said isn't necessarily wrong. I'll take "conceal and carry" over "concealed carry" any day of the week.

I wonder why the permit holder that got robbed let this guy get so close to him that he could pat him down? Did the suspect have a weapon of his own?

I will bet he will never speak up. either way it happened and it's terrible. I want to know how exactly it went down that the victim got his gun removed from his person in the first place? My only speculation that it was open carry in a cheap fobus paddle with no means of retention. Armchair quarterbacking over.
