MINNEAPOLIS - A 34-year-old man is charged with first degree aggravated robbery after Minneapolis police say he held up a conceal and carry permit holder with his own gun.

But they weren't able to recover the gun?

So he likely put it somewhere between where the assault took place and where he was arrested and you thought it was a good idea to leave that lil tidbit in the story, didja? Nice job Kare11!

MN is a "permit to carry" PTC so all of it

I know what you're saying, and I'm aware of what Minnesota's permit is called, but what the article said isn't necessarily wrong. I'll take "conceal and carry" over "concealed carry" any day of the week. :lol: :D

I wonder why the permit holder that got robbed let this guy get so close to him that he could pat him down? Did the suspect have a weapon of his own?

PRACTICE PEOPLE!!!! Train with your weapons, and with other people so that you would know what to do in this situation...

I will bet he will never speak up. either way it happened and it's terrible. I want to know how exactly it went down that the victim got his gun removed from his person in the first place? My only speculation that it was open carry in a cheap fobus paddle with no means of retention. Armchair quarterbacking over.
