Hmmm... without reading into it much it makes me want to remove all my services off of Google and to another provider.

Ugh, that would be a task and a half (I use them for domain mail, etc).

Suckage! Damn you Google, DAMN YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

They're NOT censoring shopping results.

This is their ADVERTISING sales policy.

That doesn't mean it doesn't suck.

That is pretty disappointing--as are the rest of the changes to Google Shopping--especially since there is no real alternative.

Yep, after looking more into it they just don't want their ads showing up on sites that sell guns.

Another member on AR15 pointed this out, makes some sense out of it:
Google is not anti-gun. They're pro-profit and anti-liability.

It's true that they don't allow paid ads for guns/ammo/weapons. They do allow ads for shooting related gear and accessories. It's not an anti-gun policy. They just don't want to manually police thousands of ads to be sure that advertisers are legally selling items. They set the same guidelines for other regulated items, like drugs. They're the biggest website in the world and a multi-billion dollar company, it's purely a liability concern.

Yeah, I think they are. Firearms have been removed from Google Shopping results

Your search - glock - did not match any shopping results.

Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.

I beg to differ. I just searched for 'Colt 1911' and hit shopping -- it didn't return any results. None. Note even a grip. I searched just for 'gun' and it returned dummy guns and airsoft.

Must be "under the radar"! People can't buy guns if they can't find 'em!

Don't bypass the profanity filter, type what you want and let the filter do it's job. No creative spelling.

I'm going to guess wedonotgiveaisht@gmail.com. If that doesn't work, try wecensoredforchina@gmail.com or adsensemustsupportscientology@gmail.com

Any of those should get you the result any of us would expect.

Whoa. Good thing you have this site bookmarked or you'd never find it. :D

The link is about adwords rather than google shopping. I can understand the confusion here.

Google Shopping is no longer going to be based on indexing, google-fu, and presenting results to the user. If you want results to show up when people search for 'doodad' you have to have a contract with Google, pay to have your results shown, and outbid nearly everyone else who is selling 'doodads'. They apparently are not going to allow companies selling guns to be part of Google Shopping.
